Rizzome Sustainable Solutions Pvt Ltd is a purpose-driven company, committed to creating sustainable solutions that address critical issues in organic waste management. Founded by Hemantha, an industrial designer with a background in 3D digital design and a hands-on approach to problem-solving, the company’s inception story reflects a genuine need and solution. Frustrated by the lack of affordable and efficient methods for disposing of waste and bird mortality on his own family farm, Hemantha designed and built the ideal Continuous Composter to convert organic waste into nutrient-rich compost. This prototype, tested and perfected on the farm, became the foundation for Rizzome’s flagship product line.

At Rizzome, the vision is to blend innovative design with eco-conscious practices, paving the way for a sustainable and resilient future. The Continuous Composter is crafted to facilitate aerobic bacterial digestion, turning piles of organic waste into valuable compost in as little as seven days. By offering composters in various sizes, Rizzome caters to a range of customers—from small farmers to larger commercial operations—all looking for efficient and environmentally friendly waste disposal solutions.
